APPLICATION FORM FOR THE 2016/2017 SCREENING OF CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION TO NIGER DELTA UNIVERSITY 

GUIDELINES:

1. All candidates who made Niger Delta University their first choice and scored 180 and above in the 2015/2016 UTME, should pay the sum of three thousand, five hundred naira (N3,500.00) only into Diamond Bank Plc. NDU School Fees Account Number (0016405919) and Eco Bank Limited NDU School Fees Account Number (3042004288) nation-wide, being the cost of the Screening process.

2. Candidates should photocopy the Bank teller issued to them immediately after payment of the above sum.

3. Four hours after payment of the Screening fee, go on-line to cse.sarmsndu.org, click "get-e-pin" option to print your e-pin.

4. Use the e-pin to complete the Screening Form. Ensure that a recent colour passport-size photograph which must be sharp, showing candidate's face clearly with no head gear is scanned.

5. Print a copy of the Form you have filled from the website. 6. The deadline for on-line submission of Application Form is 1st July, 2016. Note: Niger Delta University will not be held liable if you provide an invalid GSM number and e-mail address.

NDU hosts Integrated Centre for Bio-Diversity, Climate Change and Watersheds 
The Inauguration of members of the Governing Board, Advisory Committee, and  Technical Teams for the newly established Integrated Centre for Bio-Diversity, Climate Change and Watersheds took place on June 15, 2016 at the Vice Chancellor's Conference Room. The Vice Chancellor in his key note address welcomed members and expressed hope and optimism that the Centre would address the challenging environmental issues that many years of oil and gas exploration activities has unleashed on the Niger Delta Environment and promised to give support for the sustainability of the Centre. Former Secretary to the Government of Nigeria, and Chairman of the Governing Board, Prof O A Afolabi, CFR, explained the vision of the Centre and stressed why the Niger Delta University, situated at the heart of the Niger Delta, is in a unique position to champion the critical issues of the Niger Delta environment; He also urged stakeholders and members of the various committees to appreciate the seriousness of the assignment and stressed the need for dedication and commitment so that the Centre would not go the way of other noble ideas and dreams that experienced still-births. NDU Observes World Tree Planting Day
The Niger Delta University joins the rest of the world in observing the World Tree Planting Day on June 16, 2016. The Day was observed by planting trees at the New Site of the University, was formally performed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof H A Ogoni supported by members of the university community.

NDU Law Students Shine at Nigerian Law School

Niger Delta University (NDU) Law Students showed great performances at the 2015 edition of the Nigeria Law School. According to the Ag Dean, Faculty of Law, Dr. D. K. Derri, Mr. Calabar Ekpoamoeni Daniel won two awards for emerging as the best student in Criminal Litigation. The awards are
1. Chief Babatunde Ibironke (SAN) Prize for the best student in Criminal Litigation
2. Sir Lionel Bret Prize for the best student in Criminal Litigation

Also, he said, not less than ten (10) students of the Faculty graduated in SECOND CLASS UPPER DIVISION The University is proud of this great performance by her Law students and congratulated them for their achievements.

13th Dean's Lecture Series

The 13th Dean's Lecture series organized by the College of Health Sciences was held on Thursday, 11th February, 2016 at ETF Block, NDUTH, Okolobiri by 2:00pm. Guest Speaker was Professor Anthony Okpiri, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Port Harcourt. The topic was "Manpower Requirement in Nigeria Health Sector. The Unmet need to maximize our gains".
